Meet the Trustees of the ABCD Charitable Trust.

Patrice De Camaret

Managing partner of investment consultancy Squanto, Patrice began his career in 1975 at Banco Francês Brasileiro. Over the course of more than 25 years, he served as an executive in corporations such as Coimbra and Louis Dreyfus in the Americas, in addition to having founded Lentikia Capital. Patrice is an activist in the fight for dyslexia and quality education for all. He is the founder of the ABCD Charitable Trust and the ABCD Institute, where her is an Associate.

Robin Vos

Robin is based in England and has been working as an attorney for 30 years in the Private Clients department of the British firm Macfarlanes LLP. His work includes guiding philanthropic entities and individuals who wish to make philanthropic donations. Married with two children (and a dog), he has been a trustee of the ABCD Charitable Trust since its inception in 2009, and is a trustee of two London non-profit organizations.

Nicolas De Camaret

Nicolas has been executive director of the ABCD Institute since 2019. He has dyslexia and is also a technology lover, with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP). He leads the development of educational technologies aimed at literacy and specific learning disorders, especially dyslexia. He has been a trustee of the ABCD Charitable Trust since 2013.

Jean-Louis de Montesquiou

With a master’s degree in International and European Law and History from the Paris-Sorbonne University, Jean-Louis has had a long and successful career in the financial sector, including executive positions at Banque de L’Union Européenne, JP Morgan and UBS Group. He is currently a contributor to Books magazine and author of four books: “Mont Athos” (L’Harmattan, 215), “Écrire, disent-ils” (Éd. du Palais, 2017), “Aller simple pour Pyongyang” (Exils, 2018) and “Amin Dada” (Perrin, 2022). He has been a trustee of the ABCD Charitable Trust since 2016.

Aldo Laurence Maria Coronelli

Aldo is an Italian consultant to Global Family Offices at Hagakure, a London-based financial and asset management company. He holds a master’s degree in Finance and Economics from the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan, and began his career at JP Morgan in 1992. He has been a trustee of the ABCD Charitable Trust since 2018.

Marcela Bastos

With an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and master’s degree in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), Marcela was a marketing executive at large companies and an independent consultant for 20 years. Mother of two children, she was the founder of Coruja Educação and, since 2021, has lead the Márcio Thomaz Bastos Legacy Project, whose objective is to contribute to the defense and guarantee of fundamental human rights in Brazil. She has been a trustee of the ABCD Charitable Trust since 2018.
